At Secu-Tech, trade shows are more than marketing opportunities. They are where we listen. Every conversation at our stand provides insight into the real challenges facing depot operators, fleet managers, and logistics providers. This direct feedback is integral to how we prioritise product development and refine our solutions.
2025 brought us to events across Europe: from InterAirport Europe in Munich to Stacja Paliw in Warsaw and beyond. Here is what we learned.
Why Trade Shows Matter to Us
In a specialised industry like fuel logistics safety, nothing replaces face-to-face conversation. Email and phone calls are efficient, but they cannot capture the nuance of watching a customer describe a workflow challenge or seeing their reaction when a solution clicks into place.
Trade shows give us concentrated access to the perspectives that matter most: the people who install, operate, and maintain safety systems every day. Their experiences test our assumptions and challenge us to do better.
Key Themes from 2025
Across multiple events, several consistent themes emerged from our customer conversations:
Retrofit Simplicity Drives Decisions
Many operators are working with existing infrastructure that cannot be easily replaced. The ability to integrate new safety systems without major modifications remains a decisive factor. Customers consistently emphasised that solutions must fit their current reality, not require them to rebuild around new technology.
Data Quality and Remote Monitoring Reduce Operating Costs
Accurate, real-time data from sensors and monitoring systems directly impacts operational efficiency. Customers reported that improved data quality enables better inventory management, reduces unnecessary site visits, and supports predictive maintenance. Remote monitoring capabilities are increasingly viewed as essential rather than optional.
Compliance Readiness Creates Planning Certainty
Regulatory requirements continue to evolve, particularly around overfill protection (OFP), cross-over prevention (COP), and forthcoming EU directives. Customers value systems that are already certified and compliant, as this reduces uncertainty and protects their investments against future regulatory changes.
Highlights from Specific Events
InterAirport Europe 2025: Munich
Three intensive days of conversations with aviation fuel specialists. The focus at our stand was on overfill protection, deadman systems, high-precision level monitoring, and our O²PID and SECU MultiTank solutions for safe refuelling processes. The aviation sector demands exceptional reliability, and our discussions reflected that standard.
Stacja Paliw 2025: Warsaw
We were honoured to receive special recognition at this event. Thank you to our team, to every visitor who stopped by our stand, and to the jury for this acknowledgement. Your feedback, enthusiasm, and trust motivate us to continue pursuing new approaches.
UNITI expo 2024: Stuttgart
Our participation at Europe's leading petrol station trade fair reinforced the importance of this event for our industry. We look forward to returning in 2026.
How Your Feedback Shapes Our Work
Every insight from a trade show conversation enters our product development process. Customer feedback has directly influenced:
- Simplified installation procedures for retrofit scenarios
- Enhanced data output and connectivity options
- Documentation and certification pathways for emerging regulations
We do not develop products in isolation. The challenges you share with us become the problems we work to solve.
Thank You
To everyone who visited our stands in 2025: thank you. Your time, your questions, and your willingness to share your experiences are invaluable. We look forward to continuing these conversations in 2026.
